Default Question for all you gas haulers

Ok, a little background. I'm fairly new to the gas hauling business (2 months). Currently, I choose to haul only gas and diesel, no jet fuel,
ethanol, etc...

When I haul a load of just diesel, I flip the placard from 1203 to 1993. I'm sure some of you know where I'm going with this. I've been told
2 different things about this. One argument is - you must change the placard to match the load. 1203 for gas or gas/diesel load and 1993
for all diesel. The other is - you can run with the 1203, even for straight diesel loads. Yesterday, I saw 3 Pilot drivers, in a row, load all diesel
and left with 1203 placards.

So which is the correct procedure?

I hauled fuel for 4 years. 1203 is fine for hauling diesel. I have even been DOTed with a load of diesel and 1203 cards and never had a problem.

If the tank is used to haul gas and diesel the highest flammability rate must show on the placard..

Thanks Doc! I just fly the 1203 all the time. After I originally asked this question, I immediately found out at work lol
