I got a check for $18.96 from the Ryals vs. HireRight lawsuit.....

Got one yesterday!! Money from heaven, so to speak. Better yet, there was another class action suit that I was a participant in from when I applied at Vitran Express. Just for applying and them misusing DAC/USIS they had to send me a check for $550.00.

As I told my wife, I could make a full time job out of applying for jobs at companies that end up having to pay out in these class action suits.

hey drivers, i received a check in the mail today for $65.18
was wondering if it was legit or not.
i know there is some BS on my DAC that's for sure, amazing how companies get mad when you no longer wish to operate for them.

Hey, Cluggy, I was wondering the same thing. Got a small one, but it was welcome! There couldn't have been enough money given that would have "made up" for all that's happened, though. So, I won't complain..

I think I got one for 11 dollars and 18 cents, and I don't even know how or why I was part of the suit/settlement!

The guy who said he got 65 bucks probably went thru some chit... and deserves it.

But, SCOE??? Come on man! How BAD does your DAC have to be to earn you 5.5 Bills??

And as for your new "venture"... just WHAT would you have done if they'd hired you? You'd be out $550, and you'd have to get off the couch and GO TO WORK!

I received a check at the house, but don't recall the amount. I have not yet seen it due to being out of town.

Tore my check up and threw it away today. I let the 45 days expire without cashing it. It had become even MORE worthless than the day I got it.

    Default $4100 bucks!

Got my check on March 26th. $4,124.25... I wasn’t even expecting it, I figured it was a shot in the dark when I submitted the claim forms because I didn’t have undeniable proof that a company I applied for did hire me solely because of the incorrect DAC report. Evidently, it was enough to prove my case.

Best mail I have ever received...

I forgot about my check and it has now expired. I don't think that I will go broke not having the $18. check.
