Ban on HANDHELD cell phones starts today

cell phone usage been banned in all vehicles here for about a year except for ringing police re dangerous driving, road conditions etc. $150 fine and 25 demerit points (100 demerits loss of licence 3mths) we allowed hands free...oh hog shania answers her phone when shes in new zealand at her ranch no problems

On the phone? I followed one in my car one night for six miles and he kept swerving all over the place. When I got behind him at the Steak & Shake drive through, I could see through his back window that he was playing f**cking Spider Solitaire all that time!

does anyone remember when we did not have cell phones? we all survived without a phone all that time, what a miracle!!
No one driving ANY vehicle should be holding a phone in one hand, or facing the passenger they may be speaking to.
I have NEVER faced my passenger while talking to them, and if they don't like that then they can get the he44 our of my vehicle.

Keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel and we will all be safe to drive another day.


That goes for ALL drivers, especially the 4-wheelies who think they are better or safer than a big rig.
