Default North Carolina Weight Stations and Other States

Question and maybe the great one himself Mr. Hobo could answer this question since this is home state but every time i go to these certain two scales in North Carolina MM 150 or something I-95 and MM 102 I-77 i get yelled at over the cb to do 5 mph over the scale because the light stays green.. at most scale houses like this (I.E. Virginia and Maryland) you pull onto the scale and stop, this one its no roll through at 40 mph but its set up as to pull on the scale and stop and pull off instead of riding on through the scale.. any help so i won't get in trouble next time i go through these scales??

For starter never assume any 2 scale sites are the same, even if they are in the same state.

2nd: Read ALL the signs going into and exiting the scales. They will, more often than not tell you exactly what you need to do.

3rd: Everywhere I have ever been Green means go and Red means stop. So If you have a Green light you keep on rolling at the posted speed limit.
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.
