But in our house, nothing says peace and quiet like DUCT TAPE!.
Sure some may call us strange or more formally Dr. Strange Love, but it works.

RK2525 ask:
Uturn2001 got it right:Got a DOT Inspection Report. Had "speeding 65 in a 55 zone" violation and a "Log Book Entry" violation. listed on in. DOT guy says he's not going to issue any citations, just gives me a warning!
The Inspection Report shows under citation# "warning".
Do I need to notify my company of this report, yes I know I "Should", but will they ever see it if I don't since no citations were issued?
Carriers and the public are able to see any roadside inspection that resulted in a MCSAP Driver/Vehicle Inspection Report by visiting http://ai.volpe.dot.gov/.396.9 FMCSA RegsQuote:
d)(1) The driver of any motor vehicle receiving an inspection report shall deliver it to the motor carrier operating the vehicle upon his/her arrival at the next terminal or facility. If the driver is not scheduled to arrive at a terminal or facility of the motor carrier operating the vehicle within 24 hours, the driver shall immediately mail the report to the motor carrier.
Using the Safestat Online button allows for a person to search the FMCSA database for a carrier's info. Once the carrier's data is visited then you can see vehicle/driver inspections by VIN and license plate numbers.
Carriers are required to review their profile and ensure drviers are turning in all driver/vehicle exams.
So whether you were cited or not the driver/vehicle examination report is now part of your (FMCSA personnel may search A & I by driver's name) and the carrier's.
Be safe.
