    And, if it matters, HE was talking to ME in the beginning, and YOU had to answer before I did! That fits into YOUR interpretation of the "regs" here, does it?

    You don't want me to answer posts intended for you? Fine! Then don't inject YOUR stupid remarks into a discussion between a poster and ME!

    For what it's worth, I was uncomfortable with the noobie's response to MY posts! I believe there are MANY here, including YOU, who offer valuable information.... BigD excluded. Or, at least that's the way this board USED to be!

    But, there is no mistaking that a noobie singled out MY explanation as the one he got "comprehension" from! YOU were just an afterthought!
    (although I am not convinced he isn't a "mult" and planted that platitude!)

    Perhaps, that says something about YOUR style of answering questions versus mine. You gotta live with your OWN limitations, REV! I am not responsible for your failings!

    The 70 hour rule covers all on duty time, driving or not.

    So my on duty and driving go towards my 70/8 rule? So if I drove 60 hours and had 10 hours of on duty I'm done and have to do a 34 reset?

    You can either reset, or wait until hours start dropping off. You never have to take a 34 hour reset, as it is optional. Sometimes it makes more sense to do so, however.

    Ok I just assumed that the 70/8 was driving only I did not know that included On Duty not driving also, thats what she was talking about me being on duty too much and it was eating up all my drive time and I was in violation.It makes sense now.

    Once you hit that magic 70 hour mark of on duty time, you can't drive anymore. You can be on duty (not driving) beyond the 70th hour, but you cant drive beyond the 70th hour in an 8 day period.

    I have BEEN back on the road for a couple of weeks now. Things will return to normal when you and a few others learn to either ignore, discuss or debate MY opinons, which are as acceptable here as YOURS, without making ASSUMPTIONS about my character based on YOUR opinion of them.
