    Default DOT Compliance

    This is for anyone that runs under their own Authority.

    Do you need to have an application & drug testing records on file for yourself? I know when you go to a new employer you go for drug testing each time. I am about to go under my Authority and was wondering about compliance issues and being audited...any info will be appreciated!

    Yes, you must have a drug test on file, and you must join a consortium that will put your name into a random drug testing pool. Just do a google search for "drug testing consortium", and you will find one.

    You ALSO have to promise to pay yourself squat, screw up all the directions and load assignments you give yourself, and deny any request you make of yourself for hometime! :wink:

    Seriously... best of luck! Let us know how it goes.

    Georgia Hot Dog;

    I know that Golfhobo is joking, but he does bring up some very valid points. If you are going to be operating under your own authority, then you will also have to be your own dispatcher.

    One thing you will need to do is get a land line phone with a
    "HOLD" button. Learn to use it well, and learn to use it often!! :shock:

    Then, you need to focus upon learning to call yourself back in 2 Hours!!

    BOL2U!!
