Default The 11 & 14 hour rule (easy way to understand, I HOPE)

    After a 10 hour break

Once you enter lines 3 or 4, count over 14 hours on your clock (this should be at the top of your log grid) make a mark. That mark means your 14 hour will be up at that time. Now from the time you start your day and the time your 14 hour ends all you have to do is make sure
    1) you do not DRIVE past that mark
    2) you do not DRIVE OVER your 11 hours

The only way to drive past the 14 hour mark is to have a sleeper break of 8 hours started or completed.

You can not drive 11 hours then start split breaking! Once you have driven 11 hours consecutive YOU MUST TAKE A FULL 10 HOUR BREAK.

I think I will try and give a log tip a day so maybe all the drivers will understand the regulations! I try to keep it simple and in human words!

Thanks and everyone run legal and log legal (don't make it look legal)

HOW MANY LAUGHED AT THE LEGAL COMMENT?

    1,0000000000000000000000000000000000 L.O.L.
But reallyl your life is on the line when you run illegal! I can tell you stories about that! Not my personal stories, but it is facts!
Log manager at it again! I JUST NEVER STOP PREACHING "RUN LEGAL"

I AM SORRY! I AM NOT PERFECT! I guess some will get use out of it, or are you just jealous??????????? Are you sure you are a truck driver? Most drivers I talk to are pretty nice and sound mature?

Just ignore him as I do. He offers nothing and his goal in here is to be rude, heckle and just be a major pain!

You are absolutely right - I want to see and hear THE TRUTH, something I get very little of from you.

I tell the TRUTH! The thing you lack is wanting to hear the truth from someone else! Kind of like my statement says "He only see what he wants to see and hear! "

If I am not posting the TRUTH, then dispute something I have posted. I dare you.

Oh goody, count over 14. Hmmmmm, I wonder how far over 14 I'm allowed to count. Does going over 14 mean I can go over the 11 also. Hmmmm, you just found a neat way to extend the driving time.

OOOOPs, forgot to add - and get seriously nailed for it. :P

If your going to post tips, be careful of what you say and how you say it. If you forget to add a little word or accidentally add one, it can change the entire meaning of the message around on you. Maybe you should be as picky on grammar as you supposedly are on the dot regs.
