    Default Best hazmat route

The private carrier I drive for is located in Toledo, Ohio. They have just established some accounts along route 90 in Ny. Buffalo, Rochester etc. The problem is that in Ohio no hazmats are allowed on 90 west of Cleveland. I'm looking for the best alternate route. I start with the Ohio turnpike out of Toledo and need to hook up with 90 in Pa or Ny for my first stop in Buffalo. This is a small company and these decisions are left to the drivers. I am one of two over the road drivers here. Any help would be appreciated.

    From Toledo

    I 80 to Oh 10/I 480 to I 90 is what I would suggest.
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.

If I remember correctly Hzmat of any class is restricted on I90 through the city of Cleveland period unless you are making a local delivery/pickup, just like Indy and a few other cities.
