    Default DAC?

Question, I drove for Schneider 14 years ago and had a preventable, no ticket. I soon left them on my own and got out of driving. About two months later I was told that my license was suspended for no proof of insurance, It was turned in but Ohio said they never received it. I took the info in and on the spot got my license back but without the CDL.

I am looking to get back into a truck and know that I have to go through everything again but was wondering if I should see If I even have a DAC report. How far back do they go?

I guess the question is do you need a CDL to get any info from DAC?

You should contact USIS/DAC directly to obtain a copy of your report prior to spending time and money on getting your CDL again. You are allowed to get 1 copy free a year if you are unemployed, or think that your report may contain an error.

If all this happened 14 years ago I would not worry about it at all. Generally DAC only keeps employment histories for 10 years as that is all the DOT requires for record keeping for carriers.
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.

Default violation of company policy on dac report???

Back in February of 2009 company i was driving for did local deliveries for a cardboard container company. Many occasions i had worked over my 14 hrs. making my way back home.i had repeatedly told them that i was not going to continue to do it. Many of their other plants in North Carolina had held me up in unloading . On one delivery that i agreed to take ,took me longer so i ended up working 16 hrs that day, on top of that i had to double drop and hook because customer did not want to use the other three doors they had,so i went out into the parking lot and started to do the double, and said a few choice words ,not directing it to anyone ,just leting off steem. i was by myself, nobody else was around .The next day ,the fleet manager came down and said they had a complaint and had to let me go. I was shocked to hear this because i did a good job, i did not have any accidents or tickets and worked my ass off for this company. And they refused to take the violation of company policy off the DAC report. Is this how it ends for me ? I cannot get a job now because of this bad report. I thought a report had be a driving or drug and alcahol or a felony conviction. Can a company do that. I would appreciate some feed back .And am disputing it to DAC/USIS.jUST WAITING,AND WAITING,AND WAITING.
