Ouch! My FLD120 is under 14k - but that is with a Detroit 11.1L S60 (lighter engine) and small flattop sleeper and single drive axle 8) .

Jeez- my 275" WB Columbia with the 14L Detroit and the wet kit is just over 20,000 with full tanks.

I'm gonna try to shave another 1K off of my 14k tractor. I'm going to 425/65R22.5 super singles on aluminum rims on the drive axle (michelin ones can't take the 22.4k legal weight around here), aluminum rims on the steers, remove the defunct fuel heater (cast iron with long heater hoses to it) and defunct ether injector, lightweight brake drums, maybe remove one of the fuel tanks (the 90, keeping the 120), going to aluminum air tanks, removing the air slider for the fifth wheel and going to fixed (300lbs saving according to the catalog!), weedburner exhaust, and anything else I can think of :) . I can presently be legal with 40k in the box around here and every little bit more will help me avoid having to add a lift axle 8) . I'd love to find a spread axle 53 foot van that had the axles properly placed for a single axle tractor (quite a bit forward of normal) but probably too big $$$ for me!

I believe that each seat weighs about 50 pounds. Throw out 100 and add 3 with a 5 gallon bucket and you are set.
