Default Webasto bunk heater clicking

Anyone familiar with the clicking noise from the fuel pump on the Webasto bunk heater? We have about 6 trucks with these and everyone saysd the clicking is normal and you get used to it.
Well I can't stand it. I hear it all night. Someone mentioned that the fuel pump wasn't properly mounted on a rubber bushing or something and I also read somewhere about building an insulated shroud around it.
This doesn't seem right although the heater was installed by the Volvo dealer.
Any help getting rid of this annoying clicking? It's about as loud as a ping pong ball bouncing on a table.
Thanks!

Where is it mounted? At lower speeds it will click louder I find. I have an espar, but they're very similar.

The unit is mounted in the driver's side box. Not exactly sure where the fuel pump is mounted. It clicks when it's running at night. With the thermostat set higher it clicks faster, not sure if any louder. I try to run it as low as possible to slow it down.

LOL......I too have an Espar, I sleep on the driver side, the KW sleeper is sort of set up for that, so I put the fuel pump there on the left,it was annoying, so I then moved it to the other side, problem solved.

The clicking is normal, it will NOT go away, both the Webasto and the Espar are very similar in design.

LOL, I complained about this literally for 2-3 years. Everyone looked at me like I has two heads and said I should get used to it. I slept with ear plugs. Finally, the heater started to belch black smoke into the bunk and we replaced the heater. The Wabasto guy that installed the new one said the pump was mounted on the floor of the bunk, without a rubber insulator, directly under my head, causing the click-CLACK to resonate throughout the bunk. My truck doesn't have any insulation on the floor of the bunk like I've seen on other trucks. The new heater is way better.....but I actually like the ear plugs now. Wouldn't sleep without them.

Unscrew the pump and put some rubber in there.
