Default Opinions Please

Going to a auction Saturday to buy a different truck. I have picked out 4 trucks I want to bid on. The auction has 13 trucks in it and I have talked to the mechanics that worked for the company with the trucks and they told me these were all solid trucks. I have no idea what the trucks should bring at the auction and was hoping for some insight on that. The auction is a bankruptcy liquidation auction.

Anything older with a non-emission engine?

Can you rent a truck for a month and refurbish your million miler?

The ISX Cummins are prome to premature cam wear/replacement>do you know if it has been done? The 14l detroits don't typically get good fuel economy. I'm a huge fan of a pre-emission Detroit 12.7l. IF i had to chooses from that group it would be the 06 Columbia.

The Columbia was going to be my first choice. What's a good price for it?? It is in good shape and I know the mechanics that maintained it and talked to the driver who drove it for 2 years. They all said it was a solid truck with no problems.

Go to Used Trucks For Sale at TruckPaper.com: Freightliner, International Trucks, Kenworth, Peterbilt, Mack trucks, dump trucks, dump trailers, used truck parts for sale, salvage trucks, salvage trailers, used trailers for sale. put in your specs and do a search. I took a very quick look and found prices from 25K to 38K BUT again I did a very quick look.

I got the 06 Columbia bought for $16K

It was the first truck sold and everything else went real cheap.

07 Colunbia $18,500
07 Classic $24,500
International $15,000
