I don’t know if I can get away with this, but I’m sure I’ll find out from the mods shortly!

I’m selling my 53’ 2006 Utility / Carrier Ultima Ice Cream Reefer. .. at a great price (pretty much wholesale) I might add. I’ve shopped it to just about every trailer dealer around, but being a six-year tenured CAD member, would prefer to pass it on to a fellow member at just slightly over the highest dealer quote I’ve gotten, which is still one heck of a bargain for the retail shopper. I’ll be posting this trailer at $26k on truckpaper.com, but will sell for much less to a bona fide CAD member. While it is an ice cream reefer, I’ve been hauling produce out of California for the last fourteen months and have had a great experience with the unit (I paid off the 48 month loan in 8 months, so I must’ve been making money with it, right?).

They have that law here in Michigan too, and now I have obnoxious relatives who are always stoned to boot, as well.
A lot more DUI's, and all the stuff that comes along with drug trade.

I submitted the Truckpaper ad last Thursday. They claim to make it active within 24 hours, but it's still just sitting in unreviewed status. I'll give them 'til noon today before I call or email them. There's an ad also that should go active on OOIDA's website today. I’ll be home late this morning hopefully, so things ought to get done quicker then. I have one last dealer to see on my way home and if he doesn’t offer what I want then I’ll probably stick with private sale. $20k is a fair wholesale price. A dealer could flip this trailer in a few months for about $24k or more if he wasn’t in a hurry. There are twins to my trailer (sans Freightwings, inflators and third row of E-trak) posted in the truck paper by Mid-states Utility where I bought this from asking $27,900. I’d love to pass this gem on to a CAD or OOIDA member for $21k. Give them a break that I didn’t get when I got started, you know? And if I’m going to have to settle for wholesale, why not help out an individual instead of a big equipment dealer.

Believe it or not, I sold the trailer on my way home today. Who’d have thought?
