Lol, we are definitely in wrong business lol. Now back to the percentage thing, when I was buying my first truck 1 1/2 years ago I was leased to people buying truck from and I was getting 80% of gross, and 100% fuel surcharge, minus truck payments and insurance. It started off well and each week I would get load confirmation copies with each check then it started dwindling along with my pay. Needless to say I crushed few loads of cars (primarily car crusher) and paid truck off and told him to stick his authority in his ass. Best thing I ever did. Ever since then I've had own authority.

I'm supposed to give you 9% of my gross for making a few phone calls and sending a couple faxes? So that would be almost $20k for dispatching my one truck this year and with you having no expenses and no liability of your own in the game? Holy crap, I guess I really AM in the wrong business!

My dispatch service charges 7% and load factoring is included in the 7%. I receive payment on my loads as soon as they receive the Bill of Lading.
