Sounds like Bruce is gettin' rich off of us. I ordered a second one of these last week. 53' with 22.5" rims and a 37" deck height. June 30 delivery.

He said he's going to Port Dover ON Friday for some lakeshore fun. Probably financed by you and me

And I AM getting the 53 flat. Wanted to switch to the 53 step tridem he has sitting in the yard but he said it's too late, as the flat came from Wilson modified to meet my requests (all I asked for were in-floor chain tiedowns, and low profile tires instead of regular 22.5 ones). The model I'm getting is called CF-965 (heavy coil hauler, 29' beam) and it can take 54,000 lbs in 4' and 62,000 lbs in 20 ft of space. I'm going to install a third axle in between the 10'1" axles and start making the big bucks by hauling heavy stuff on this brand new 2012 skateboard.

That's too bad. I was hoping you'd get a step so I could buy it off you in 6 months LOL.

It's funny how different people stumble onto different niches. I have never found heavy to pay well. High and wide, yes but not heavy.

What size engine do you have.....12.7L Detroit?

So he made you buy what you didn't really want ?? Been me would have said 'see ya I'm going over to ABC trailer see what they have'. Bet he would have followed you out the gate begging, never know might have got a better $$ deal.

Prediction: before Sir Gay pays a shop to install a third axle on his new trailer, he already wants to get rid of it for another type of trailer.

I am jealous of him now though.... he doesn't have grass to mow.

    I'd say that trumps 10.7L 370/400 HP, 1400 ft-lb

According to his blog he got the 53 ft with the tandem spread axle but is also mumbling again about adding a 3rd axle. He also was on a kick to buy another brand new car. He is still basicly spending money as fast as he gets it as far as I can tell. He posts up some of the great rates he is getting and makes it sound like he is really making some good money but also still brings up the fact that he is having to pull advances on his loads for fuel sometimes.Doesnt sound like he saves much or plans much for the future of his business. He seems like a good dude and I love reading that blog but his business sense blows my mind.

He doesnt post here anymore i take it?? What were we too hard on him. He can spend money. The funny thing is its money he doesnt have.

I like this post off his blog.
I wrote them a letter on Friday asking to finance the third axle upgrade but it was not in the cards. I"ll have to do it the old-fashioned way: by setting money aside.

How is buying something with cash the old fashioned way?? Sounds like the smart way to me. Seems like he lives on credit.
