    Default Hey Mackman, a story about Macks on The History Channel

    Saw an interesting story on The History Channel tonight. It was all about trucks and the segment on big trucks featured Macks. There's a man in New Jersey by the name of Gary Mahan who has a huge collection of Mack trucks, some of which date back to the early years of the trucks. Up until the 1940s they were powered by chain drives! I really enjoyed this segment!

    I believe that was an episode of "Modern Marvels" and yes that was an interesting show.....though most of their shows are pretty good.

    Yeah they were talking about the Macks being the all American truck but forgot to mention they are owned by Volvo, a Swedish company! But you're right, I've always loved those Macks!
