the company I'm leased to went to a new fuel card (fleet one over the road nastc) come to find out that the pump price is on the fuel reciept and the discount is ajusted on the fleetone site and my settlements are not showing the discount. I know this is unlawfull but I have no clue who to call on this If anyone knows I'd sure be greatfull

You may want to talk to your carrier first. Some will credit the fuel discounts back to you at the end of the month. If you don't get any satisfaction, you could call Fleetone or even OODIA as a last resort.

brought it up to the carrier and they lied thought there teeth said they are't part of that discount plan but we're still using that card which was easily disproven by making a call to fleetone but they wont help because I'm not the account holder. it hard enough to make a living without getting screwed on top of it!

Schneider does the same deal. They give you .06 cents off per gallon at pilot, but sni gets sometimes up to .32 cents off

Landstar works the same deal with Comdata. I think most carriers who get the fuel discounts keep part of the money. They are really under no obligation to pass any of the discounts along to the owner operators, but it does seem unethical.

You can always get your own fuel card. I can't see using their fuel card unless you can get some discounts.

Back 'In the day" there were very few if any fuel cards. Driver set off with X number of $ for fuel for a trip and when you fueled up you gave the $50 for 350 gal. (fuel was cheap then ) and they would give you back like $3.50, driver perk
Get your own card at stations you fuel the most then demand the listed FSC on the invoice
The Alaska building method. Measure with a micrometer. Level with a laser. Cut with an axe.

Don't forget that an attendant would come up, fuel your truck and fill your thermos then park your truck for you too

My experience has been that anytime someone offers you something for your convenience... it is for THEIR profit. Carriers included. You just need to get your own fuel card. I signed up with nastc last month and got my fleetone cards in last week. I'm at home right now, but the fuel savings seem really good compared to anything else out there.

I don't recall any law, that requires carriers to do that. There is a simple solution;-If you don't like it, find yourself a better deal. I'm actually surprised, how in a free country, are so many folks have a "socialistic" mentality!
Pessimist,- is just well informed optimist!
