    Default Ifta report

    Hey guys i need alittle help. The ifta report seems kinda easy to fill out. But on the ifta 101 fourm. In column K is taxble gallons and coulmn L is tax paid gallons. Wouldnt column L be 0 or would it be the same as coulmn K. It doesnt seem to make sensce if it is the same as column K but im just asking anyway, Thanks alot. Bare with me this is my 1st time lol.

    I suck at ifta, I'll admit it. So I'm not much help, but one thing I can tell you to do is to call your ifta office in PA and see if they have online ifta filing. Maryland does and it's free, all you do is punch in your numbers and wala! it's all done, then hit send and it's filed. If you owe you just send in a check.

    Worth a phone call anyway. Good luck.

    Can anyone help me out?? Or are you going to make me call the IFTA office and deal with them clowns lol.

    I believe that Column L is the Taxable Miles multiplied by the Taxable Gallons.
    just trying to stay off the radar, or fly under it, or something like that.....

    Column K Taxable Gallons is what you owe that individual state. Divide total miles traveled in that state by your average MPG.

    Column L Taxed Paid Gallons is how much diesel you bought in that state. If you bought too much, you're due a credit. If you didn't buy enough, you owe them.

    I buy all my fuel in PA. I run PA DE and NJ. So i guess i will end up oweing NJ and DE right?? Since i ran in their states but didnt buy any fuel?? Pa will owe me money right??

    IIRC, The pump tax in PA is about double what surrounding states charge, so I would say yes, you should be due a hefty refund.

    Alright thanks alot smalltown.

    I will tell you guys my miles and gallons fill it all out and then paste it on here. If you guys can tell me if you think it is right or not. I think i got it. But better be safe then sorry. Thanks again for your help.

    OK i think i got it all filled out right. Im not going to bother to scan it and all the BS. Im just going to take it to the quarry 2morrow and have my buddy look it over. If i did it right i should have $11.61 coming back to me. Thanks again.
