Default Any Auction's for Semi's in Florida/ Georgia?

I live in Central Florida and was wondering if it would be a good idea of thinking of finding a truck at an auction? In this Economy, maybe that is a place to look, anyone have information on this subject?
Are there any place's in FL or Ga that have truck's in Auction's, and if they're in auctions would you believe they're worth purchasing or a waist of time?
I would think alot of bank's and other's are having truck's returned or repossesed. What do you think?

    Thank's/Allen

You can sometimes find a good deal at these auctions. Ritchie Brothers has auctions in various parts of the country. There is an equipment auction every so often near Orlando. Another is just off I-85 south of Atlanta. I believe that both are Ritchie Brothers auctions. Taylor & Martin is also a major equipment auction company. Check The Truckpaper. All three have their own websites and list auctions all over the country. Unless you are mechanically inclined you may want to get a friend or hire a mechanic to check out what you like before buying. I have purchased things at auction and gotten good deals. I have also seen people pay more than retail at some auctions. It is a great way to find good deals as long as you have the cash.
