    Default hello from the past

It has been a while, so I thought I would show everyone what I am occupied with right now. The driving school pretty much runs itself now so I went out on the road to have some fun. Here is a pict of me out on the road between Alberta and New Mexico.

This is my tractor but I am trading it in on a brand new LoneStar and should have it by Xmas. Every bell and whistle that can be bolted or welded to it will be on the list.

This load is almost 15 ft 6 inches tall, so I had to have permits for every state and province and could only run during the day time.

thanks GMAN and RostyC. I will be on the board quite a bit for the next while. I should be on the road for about two to three months, then parked for two, then back on again. I am enjoying being back on the highway and back to my roots, except this time the rides are nicer.

Edmonton and Calgary area to Louissianna, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. Mostly Oil and Gas industry product. I am picking up new Retenour 48 ft step deck on Thursday. I will post a pict of a load when I get it. I am going to spec out my new tractor over the next month and should have it operational just after Xmas. I will start a new post for that project.

    Well... you look the same.

Hopefully, getting away from training will help your nerves.

That pict is not far off. Actually, I have not been training for about four years, except very limited time when I am needed.

I was mostly semi-retired, and only going into the office about 10 hrs a week.

I got bored and decided to go OTR until I am ready for something else.

The main reason for the OTR is that i am starting up a new division of the company that will will facilitate taking OTR and Cross Border newbies into full grown Truck Drivers. I am going to get two tractors this year, and add two or three each year after that.
