Default So where are the original pioneers of this form and the newbies?

What has Doghouse been up to since getting his authority 4years ago.He had one hell of a sleeper.
Stevebooth has long been gone after he got Canned.I wonder why Steve got mad at me and stopped emailing me.I appreciate him helping me with my business.Bigdiesel got canned and has his own board.
What about Derrin who bought a straight truck car hauler and had a long thread about his adventures?Since Derin went out of business we never heard from him.
Gman is still giving useful advice to the newbies but I wonder if he has Carpoal Tunnel Syndrom.
Midnight Flyer, where is he?He loved banning people on here.
Scott seems to be holding it down and has much knowledge about the rules and regulations pertaining to FMCSA.
Merrick still has his multiple trucks after getting own auhtority 4 yrs ago.
Mike3fan, is still yanking tankers and making the dough.
    What about my Orangetexas buddy?

Now for the newbies.Where is this guy named Hobbo.I may be wrong about the name but he came in here and wanted to go get his authority just after getting his CDL.I guess his dreams died.
You then have dreamers like GOSTEELERS who wanted to go get an SBA loan of 100k to go get a truck and trailer and run under his MC.I guess he realised the govt stopped giving any SBA loan and that money was too huge to start a business.
Dave also seems to have a dream, but let's see if he lives up to his dream.
Rank is still yanking his step and has much knowledge as a fleet owner.

Scott, heavy haulers and Skrissel and Heavyduty is still around.
Did I miss anyone? What about the REV?
Where are the rest of the newbies who had dreams and some of the original pioneers of this forum?.

I believe he got Midnight Flyer and Twilight Flyer mixed up.

Wonder how many others he got mixed up?

Big D was not one of the pioneers of this board, and he really didn't last long.

Nawah...he meant Roadhog. That SOB ran outta missiles in his first week as mod. WTF do you mean we're outta missiles?

Took Twilight, Ridge, and Scoe a month to clean up his mess.

He was here before me. If I remember, he originally went by TFMotors, or something like that. Maybe some other aliases too.

Tracer is still here I"m logging in once in a while to see if there's any interesting topics. I got my own trailer and then put a sliding tarp on it (not too happy with either one), but I"m getting ready to apply for my authority in the summer and become a specialized hauler in Ontario, Canada. Just need to set aside some dough and clean up the VISA first

I don't think i'd be considered a "pioneer" of the board, but i have a few years here. Sometimes I'm on a lot, sometimes I'll go a week or more without logging on.

We had Teal95KW, a young like me that was a HHG o/o, then company flatbed driver, then company van driver. Hips posts were always decent. He's still a great friend of mine. You probably will never see him post here again. He setup a pressure washing business in TX and is doing well at it. he told m trucking is a chapter of his life he's closed.

Booth is still around. I talk to him on the phone quite a bit too. He's gonna be out on the highway jammin gears again in the next few months.

Pepe was an interesting guy/story to follow. Wonder whatever happened to him. He did the dry van o/o w/authority deal and made a lot of posts through his beginning and when he started hauling.

From what I've read, The Rev is still trucking and doing a specialized deal with retail stores and appears to be doing well in the profitablity area. His deal with Graebel and Landstar seemed to fall apart on him, as well as another venture with a small carrier. Despite me and him butting heads, I'm glad to see he's doing well and caught a break.

    I'm sure there's others I'm forgetting.

Scoe almost seems like a ghost... TF at times, doesn't seem any better. Although, Ridge and TF do let us know they're around.

I have to admit I do miss Yoopr and WOT. I think Belpre may have icicles hanging off his computer. We may have to wait for the summer thaw for him to appear again.

I also wonder what happened to Yoopr. He disappeared without a trace. Used to email me but seems to have dropped off the edge of the earth.

Actually in July it will be three years since I got my authority. Running nine trucks now. I parted ways with my friend. That and with the freight improving, my life has become much easier. I work from home now.

I was just about to sign for 2 more units, but I'm not so sure. I have good contacts, good drivers, so I don't know what I want to do; right now it's somewhat easy. Working from home is not all that it's all cracked out to be though. To be honest I'm bored. That about sums it up; I'm bored.

Starting to feel like I want to move on to something else, while I maintain these trucks (pays the bills anyway)

When users on here were getting their authority PEPE was one of the pioneers.Did he ever go settle with his wife in the Phillipines? Then comes Doghouse with the biggest sleeper you could find. Not to forget the blue masked face.....................the GODfather.

I still read the board everyday but I rarely post anything.

I'm in the process of putting a business plan together and getting my own authority. I am looking to do short hauls on my own.

I am still doing the dedicated long hauls (Des Moines to LA and back) and getting tired of seeing the same potholes week after week. Money is good but the 4,000 miles a week is getting old.

Ya know...I just remembered I have allot the old crews email addresses on an external hard drive,
and some phone numbers written down here somewhere. I should knock on some doors...eh?
Not sure how many still use an email addy a year or so old.

I know where Yoopr lives too...but he'd be hard to sneak up on.
