I have a T-mobile blackberry pearl 8100 which I use as a modem to connect to my laptop.I have the desktop manager configured to dial to the net via usb cable.
While in the truck , my pearl 8100 went out with the symbol of a battery with a line through it.Apparently the battery is good and I think the phone is the problem.
My uncle then said instead of getting an aircard for the laptop, I can get a 3G+ phone with broadband capabilities. In this case the broadband phone will act as a router for the laptop without using any USB cable to get online.Even if I have to get a data plan from T-mobile(as I currently have)on the phone, I will like to do this without using any cables to get online.
Which T-mobile phone will do this?In this case it will save money without getting 2 different plans(aircard and cell phone plan)?
