Default Why can't all weeks be like this?

Started the week off with a delivery 30 miles from the house on Monday after a full weekend at home, picked up a loaded trailer in Chicago and delivered it in NE on Tues. Loaded in Indiana on Wed morning for delivery in MN on Thurs, then back to Chicago to pick up a loaded trailer for delivery on Fri. morning 30 miles from home. Not bad left home 8am Mon and was back at the house at 9:30am Fri morning with 4 deliveries in the books........and I bought a new car Friday

    Thumbs up

    Nice!

Surprised though you didn't dump the extra change and go ahead with the SRT-8...

Actually the R/T is only fractionally slower than the SRT and 8k cheaper

I'M jealous! Nice ride! I'm glad to see them remake the Challenger, but I still prefer the looks of the Charger....even with 4 doors.

    Default Nice rt challenger

Hey mike beutiful car! And alot nicer than the charger! True to its roots if you know what i mean.
Also its a better deal than the srt8 i test drove the srt8 but would rather have the challenger for the price add a turbo with the money you save buying the rt and youll come out cheaper an faster!
Did you take a look at the new camaros? I want to buy one of the two if things pick up! But first have to see what the camaro looks like!
If you dont mind my asking what did you give for it and did you get any type of rebates? Being as chrsler is hurting.

    Thanks! And enjoy!!

They ended the Employee pricing on the Challenger last week so I missed out on that, but I got 1k rebate for using their financing and they were willing to give me what I wanted on my trade. The sticker was $36,400. They were pretty willing to work with me, I had a price in my mind when I walked in there and I told him I would buy it at 1k below that price without him knowing my "real" number and he came in at the lesser number.

I wished Chevy would have been a little truer to the roots of the Camaro, I would have loved to buy one if it looked closer to a 69.

I got the slapstick auto, because the G/F wanted to be able to drive it too...

    Default Hey mike!

Yeah! I havent seen the camaro in person. The pics look ok!
The challenger looks more retro which i think is good!
I went to trade my "new" 2005 dodge shortbed hemi truck only has 10,000 miles, on a white rt challenger "vanishing point" i never drive it and the dealer would only give me $8,000.00 i laughed! This truck is new!

I use to hang out @ telegraph and i think it was i-94 were all the old cars would be. In dearborn.

    Do you drive a truck?
I pull a flatbed with a 379 pete. Havent did much in the last 5 months because of rates and no loads!
    Cant see working for nothing.

The camaro is not available yet there not sure if they want to release it because the way the economy is theire affraid that it wont see like they hope it would. And with all the money thta the big 3 got to make more fuel effiecient cars it wouldnt be a smart move for chrysler at least thats what i read in the last version of motor trend.

Yeah I've seen most of them, the Hurst Challenger looks good. I would've waited and ordered a R/T Classic if they would offer it in the Plum Crazy color but it seems the only new color is B5 blue.
