Wow of all the people, I'd expect you to be the LAST one to run them tires.

When I ordered my 387, I was impressed with the good ride and quietness. But with all of the Nursery that we run, and most of the places we go . X-ones really don't provide enough traction, especially in the mud and with 2 inches of snow we got on Sunday and more to come tomorrow..... I can't even get the truck out of the yard.....

Why are you selling the rims? Are you going with a taller tire as well? If so what's the reason for that, I'm curious?

I have not had very good luck with open shoulder tires. Seems like no matter what truck I put them on I get premature shoulder wear.

The problem I have is a traction issue.....The nurseries I pull out of do not have the nice flat concrete docks......

I had a tractor with super singles on it and got stuck almost every time I loaded sand from a pit. Nurseries were out of the question for that truck, fortunately I had other trucks I could send on those deliveries. FWIW, I ended up switching to duals

I had these on my last tractor shortly before I crawled out of it. Needless to say, I did not want to put super singles on this ride. I had the MD400 open shoulder Michelins and every time I bobtailed, I lost traction, even on dry pavement! Rain was rediculous. Ride was nice, but traction was terrible. I guess they do have lower rolling resistance.... they don't even remotely grab any ground or pavement to do anything productive.

They are probably a good thing for the typical fleet truck that doesn't do anything exciting. I primarily run the upper tier of the country and live 10 miles out of a small town in Iowa on gravel road. Will never put those POS tires on a truck of mine again. This time I settled for Bridgestone M720's. They have a low rolling resistance and they have done a great job this winter.
