Speaking of culinary, what happened to that weekly cooking show you were going to do. I need some more cooking ideas.

I've added some implements to my truck since my last show. I now have a legitimate wok and steamer. Perhaps if I'm feeling ambitious tomorrow morning, I'll do a breakfast episode. I've been making a great little sandwich these past few days that might interest some of you.

Speaking of mobile restaraunts I am thinking of selling my truck and trailer and buying a nice little roach coach catering truck. I will be sure to have bean burritos on my menu as they are in high demand here.

I've seen a buttload of 60k '05's out there. I put an offer on one actually, for 46k. See if they take it..

It's a full size wok, just a cheapo Wal Mart one. I haven't found a home for it yet, so its future in the truck is still uncertain.

You have cabinets right? Put a piece of pegboard on the back inside of one of then and hang the wok and pans up.

I don't know about anyone else, but I can't wait for any small improvement in the economy. If capacity is that tight, rates will skyrocket. Let 'em keep shipping trucks over seas and let the poorly run companies bite the dust. Good times are coming sooner or later to those of us who are willing to stick out this down-turn.

Rates may be low but that does reflect the price of fuel and we are back to running for $.50 cents per mile or lower for fuel.

50cpm? Last two weeks my fuel has averaged 37cpm, and that was running out west.

If he's only getting 5 mpg, his costs would be $0.50 per mile. He'd also have a very sucky truck.

After previously having a '03 500HP C15, I'm ecstatic with my current set up and almost 7mpg.

Yeah, trucks must be tight in my lane. There is only one measly load posted that I'm interested in and it pays $700 on 250 miles. I didn't think $2.80/mile was bad considering the state of things.
