You broke my luck too......I always back into this dock in the middle of the night and am loaded by 7am. I backed in at 1am and it is 2:00pm and not loaded yet. Did I lose money today??

Default Tradeshow haulers BC and the Rev......

I just bid and got two loads for the upcoming SEMA show at the LVCC. Never done these before, they say that numbers are given out at 5 A.M. for load in ???? As a reefer/nursery hauler have I stepped in the deep bandini on this ????

Here is what I bid : 35k lbs each load in crates. 1040 miles one pick one drop, no touch $6250 plus waiting time at $40.00 per hour once the trucks check in.

    ??????

Was referred to this by a friend who works for the exhibit company....

    You are my hero now!!!!!!!

You should be writing books and on late night TV selling videos "How To Bid a Load and Get Your Rate Everytime" You could be a overnight millionaire.

BD the Carlton Sheets of Trucking!!!

All this talent being wasted while he hides behind a keyboard calling honest people liars and stupid. What a shame!

What's your avg rate/mi that the truck has gotten?

We all called BS on a car hauler doing 450K in revenue, and your gross numbers mirror that figure.

    Congrats on netting 2500-4000/week.

Congrats on having a business degre. I have an Industrial Engineering degree. We both drive trucks

It never occured to me that after I stop, look my truck over, stretch my legs and use the facilities and maybe get out another book to listen to while driving which by the way I've enjoyed for over thirty years, I pass someone again and maybe two or three hour later I pass them again. they think I'm stressed out. That is really funny. I guess they also think I'm getting really bad fuel milage because I passed them and evan have a bad driving record( no tickets in over twelve years) To assume you know anothers situation is ignorance. When someone asks a question weather it be on the CB or in a truck stop if I can help I do so politely. Be nice to everyone; you meet the same people on the way up as you meet on the way down.

Here is last weeks check. You can believe me or call me a liar or stupid, I really don't care. My checks are around that number or higher everyweek unless I take time off and only get paid a half a round with a full round of fuel.

    I'm done with this subject!!!!!

I forgot to add that when I got home tonight they told me that a broker had called and wants us to haul 4 dedicated loads a week from LA to Des Moines. You say dry vans are a dime a dozen and they probably are but you get what you pay for. If they are so easy and cheap why would a broker call and want a contract for us to haul 4 loads everyweek? He could surely get a cheap carrier to haul them. Could it be excellent service in the past?? Hmmmmmm what a concept!

See once again truckers math comes out in the end,as per your check stub you grossed $4,760 not the $5,900 figure you like to tell people because it makes you look like your doing better than what you are.

    $5,950-$1,190 "commision"=$4,760.

3,200+ miles roundtrip between Des Moines,IA and LA,for $4,760? where do I sign up?
