Just switch to carrier pigeon. As soon as the economy completely collapses, that'll be the best way. :P

I have been using MyFax for several months now. I have had a little bit of a problem getting some of my faxes. For some reason I have had a couple that have been sent to my junk mail folder and at least 2 or 3 that went direct to MyFax and just sat there. I had to find them and then print them out. I have been busy so I have not had time to call their tech support people to see if I can find the problem. When I first got MyFax I never seemed to have a problem. It is probably just a little glitch.

Myfax for a few years, no complaints. I would recommend having the faxes sent to both a primary and secondary email. If your email server happens to go down it can be a pain in the ass. Then again, I never go into my myfax account. Maybe you can get them off of there.

Hmmm- I've been using eFax for several years and not had any problems. There have been times when a fax just wouldn't go out but that wasn't eFax's fault. I'd try the same thing from the Flying J (for $5- ha ha) and it wouldn't go through. Problem on the receiving end.

Never had a problem receiving, either.

I have found that it's faster to go to www.efax.com and send from there (rather than using the eFax software on my computer to send).

I won't be changing services any time soon. I know there are other services out there that charge less but I have an established fax number that I want to keep (though it's not local to my house which can be annoying when I need to have something faxed to me from home).

I agree with the bird. I have Efax and it has a proven track record with me. Yes, sometimes it has taken up to half an hour for a fax to get to the customer. That could be caused by my email server not delivering the email/fax or tons of other things.

I do lots and lots of faxing and the few times it's been slow I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

Changing your fax number is a big deal at least for you and I BigMeatHead. Your going to have to keep the other account also for some time before you cancel it. I think you'll be in the same boat if you change with the amount of faxing you do. Sort of like getting divorced then married again. WHAT the HELL was I thinking!
