Will they ever come up with a standardized pallet so guys won't have to break stuff down from big wood to small or vise versa?

I always tell them we'll do pallet exchange, "just tell me how much your shipper charges for pallets." and I tack that onto the rate.![]()
I think those grocer receivers LIKE the pallet problem. The cold does something to the brain- turns it mean or something. I've never been to a grocer receiver that was a pleasant experience.
Granted, I haven't been to a grocer receiver in 13 years. We hauled refer for about 6 months and quit. That sucked.
