I forgot that it is about money, Not making things easier.

I always tell them we'll do pallet exchange, "just tell me how much your shipper charges for pallets." and I tack that onto the rate.

I think those grocer receivers LIKE the pallet problem. The cold does something to the brain- turns it mean or something. I've never been to a grocer receiver that was a pleasant experience.

Granted, I haven't been to a grocer receiver in 13 years. We hauled refer for about 6 months and quit. That sucked.

I stopped doing them 3 months ago. One good way to profit off of extra pallets is to sneak some out from the forklift driver.
