If I would spend more time working, then being at home, I would do real well.
I would be making all kinds of money.
You may even say a ton.

I have the best year ever so far...

I dont pick or choose, i go where they send me building my rep with the company, they see it and are pushing me and i like it.

It doesnt matter how high fuel is, if the outfit has a good buisiness sence, you'll do decent.

    Inbound Revenue through Q3 2008 = $73,193 (vs $100,875 a year ago)
    loaded miles through Q3 2008 = 19,706 (vs 46,075 a year ago)
    all miles through 3 quarters of 2008 = 33,601 (vs 58,147 a year ago)

    revenue/loaded mile through Q3 2008 = $3.71 (vs $2.19 in 2007)
    revenue/mile for all miles through Q3 2008 = $2.18 (vs $1.74 in 2007)

    Summary:
Revenues are down by ~25% but all miles are down by over 50%.

    REVENUES ARE DOWN:
largely due to the fact that we did not move a single backhaul in Jan, Feb and half way through April. We said no to cheap freight.

    RATES ARE UP:
Due to primarily to increased fuel costs, but also from using DAT (instead of GL, ITS etc)

    DH MILES ARE DOWN:
Due to using DAT loadboard and developing relationships with brokers[/u]

    Thanks, rank.
I don't feel so bad about acting so churlish.

You might even say I feel vindicated.
Of course, I probably lag your diplomacy skills.

I am acclimating to the waiting game.
They do call me - when they need me.
Otherwise, I dont' bother them, and they don't bother me.
You take it cheap, what's to motivate them to ever give you a raise?
