I dropped mine off over a long weekend, like Rev said the bunk heater installs under the bed and the coolant heater I have mounted in my step tool box it takes up about the size of a laptop carry case.

Thanks gents, that's got to be the answer for me.
My company has Webasto's in all of our trucks. That thing will fry you if you don't set the thermostat right, even in my Volvo 770 on a 5f night, the wind blowing 30+ mph and the sleeper curtains open.
The '06 Volvo 670 I drove for a few months had a screwed up thermostat on it - you had a choice between off or on - not good when it can hit 90f+ inside the cab in only a few minutes with it running.

It seems everyone has a high opinion of Espar. I don't know anything about Webasto, but I'll agree with others who have had good experiences with Espar. Best thing we ever bought for the truck.
You guys had to go talking about heaters breaking...
I stayed in PA last night on I84. Woke up this morning around 3:30am pretty cold. Hit the switch for the Webasto and got a bunch of blinks out of the light. They have to get a new thermostat for it.

Shoot - when mine blinks, I just shut it off and keep turning it back on until it goes. From what I read, that was just an indication that the fuel wasn't getting to the unit, and it was priming itself.Originally Posted by Malaki86
That depends on the code that it's flashing. There are 10 different codes that it can flash. Mine flashes 6 times, indicating the thermostat.Originally Posted by Rev.Vassago
I tried unplugging/replugging the fuses and any connections - no good.
