Default I need ramps to haul ambulances and personal vehicles

Anyone in the dallas area selling ramps.I don't need the $2000 load leveler/brdge and ramp combo but the ramp by itself.I would prefer to see what I am buying rather than ebay or mail order. If not texas then anyone around atlanta and surrounding states?

East Coast Truck and Trailer used to have a facility somewhere around the multiplex, as I recall. You may contact them at their main office in Portsmouth, VA. Another place that carries ramps is Sturdy Lite in Bristol, TN. 1900 Industrial Blvd, Bristol, TN 37620 | 800-251-7082 | Fax 423-968-3820. There is one other place in Jacksonville, FL. I don't recall their name, but they usually attend the Dallas Truck Show. In fact, that would probably be a good place to get a better deal. Most dealers offer show pricing. The show is from the 21-23rd I believe.

I believe that Landsport is the company that I could not recall their name. They are based in Jacksonville, FL. Are you saying that they are out of business?

Maybe that Toll free # is not working on my cell but it seems disconnected.

Sturdy Lite gave me a better price on ramps than Land-sport. It might be worth it to attend the Dallas Truck Show to get your ramps. Land-sport had a booth a couple of years ago. You can check the vendor or company lists to see who will be on site. You should be able to order ramps from Sturdy Lite direct or through a trailer dealer. You may check with Superior in Dallas. I believe they are actually just East of Dallas on 80. They may be able to order and install them for you. I know K & L Truck and Trailer in Knoxville, TN can order them.

A friend of mine has some brand new 14' aluminum ramps that are rated at 15 ton axle weight I think. He bought them new at Jim Hawk Trailer Sales in Des Moines for his flatbed and never used them.

I know he wants to sell them but I don't know the price.

His name is Gary and his cell number is 641-799-1452

I talked to Gary and he has the ramps which he only used twice. He usually runs 80 to CO,NB and MO.
If only I could find a load towards MO,IL,IA and KS.
We have agreed on a decent price and it is now up to me to get up there. He did get those ramps for Landsport for around $1200.I cannot beat the price we agreed on.Very nice guy.I will update next week.

Just a small update, I have been calling around for a set of the 40k to use on a step deck.

Landsport was the cheapest and comes with an extra set of hooks so I can use the ramps on the step at the fifth wheel.

    Discount ramps was 2nd cheapest.

Sturdy Lite was the most expensive.

I got get the landsport ramps with the extra hooks shipped from SD to NC for cheaper than the other companies wanted for their basic ramp kits.

Thanks for the update. When I checked with Sturdy Lite it was through the dealer where I purchased my step deck. They may have given them better pricing than one can get direct. I know there is a dealer near me who can order panels and stakes for my side kit from them and he can sell them to me for less than I can get them direct. I have a friend who lives near Sturdy Lite and they will sell him the same parts for less since he is local.
