$8,500 for Super Singles,......not this dog!!
I'm going with Firestone 690's a couple of new steel wheels and a set of Cats Eyes for truck and trailer,.....$3,674.00.
Your right no worries the fuel savings was not enough to justify it and the weight savings either.
Put that with my new tranny $4,500 and I've spent enough on this truck this week

I'd love to go with the new Alcoa's Mackman, but the price he quoted me was for the regular machine finished high maint. aluminum.
I just can't justify the price for the looks, or weight savings.
And I sure don't want to swap out my duals for them,..I have 6 good ones and 2 need to be replaced,....the $$ don't add up to nothing when fuel is $0.75 more now than in December.

If I had to do it over again, I'd have gone with the Durabrites (got bad advice). However, you can get guys to polish yours once a year for peanuts if you want...no big deal.
