    Default Authority start up cost.

I already asked this in another forum but figured this would be a better place to ask.
For those of you who run your own authority, what would you say was your total start up cost? If you could list everything from the truck to lunch food that we be very helpful.

Total startup from zero to operation for the first 90 days is about 120k.

I'm o/o leased on with no desire to be independent. But I am just curious if you would break that 120k down.

40k for a used truck,20k for a used trailer, ext. 30k for fuel for the first 90 days. 10k for maintenance,5k for ins. down payment and permits, and the rest for meals and other household bills would be a rough estimate if you are going to buy used. Buying new would be a different story.

I always say $100,000 when this question comes up. And people never agree.

It cost us about 90K so 100K is a good response to go with.

Don't get your hopes up in getting a good return on that investment.
