    Default T600/T800 question

The heater/AC/defrost fan doesn't seem to blow as much air as it should in my '95 T600 and my '98 T800. I need to have the def on full in order to keep the fog and ice off, meanwhile the side windows fog up and my feet freeze.

I know there are some T6 guys on here. Is this a common thing?

I don't recall having a problem with mine. The only problem I recall is a blower motor going out and I once had to replace the switch. Other than that I don't recall any other problems with the defroster.

Clean or replace the filters. Clean the condenser coils.

Are the water valves opened all the way and also make sure the cable that controls the heat is opening the valve to it's full position.

Or....You've been sitting behind a desk to long and you've gone soft.

Sometimes the vents just fall off too. I think mine are kinda screwed. Time to pull apart the dash.

I always run as much fresh air as possible, to dry out the cab. Recirculating causes it to fog up.

When I was training at Stevens, my trainer gave me a good tip. Stevens ordered the optional fan that mounted between the visors on the T600. He said during winter, it helped to aim the fan towards the windshield and turn it on, thereby circulating warm air on the windshield. It really did help reduce ice and fog buildup on the windshield. 8)
You can take the driver out of the truck but you cant take the truck out of the driver.

Yeah, the heater/defrost position is pretty handy.

I had a Plymouth Colt Vista wagon that had an unusual panel/defrost position. I've never seen it on another vehicle. :?
