Holy shite I don,t know what a pound is worth! My missus says that if I get too many of them I just go drinking so I,m not allowed any money. I think I earn around £600 week and she says that we just scrape by on that. So I reckon a hundred pounds must be worth around $50. Is that any help mate?

Is my missus ripping me off? :?

I'm more confused now than when we started, fuel must really be expensive over there. Buy a compressed air car like I posted above. Then you have no fuel expense.

I'm not allowed any money either,we must be married to the same woman.

I remember that particular strike. It was not all truckers, just all union truckers, protesting transportation deregulation.

I remember passing through Denver, and seeing concrete blocks attached to cables swinging from over-passes. Also remember guy's flipping rocks, bottles and bricks off of over passes. Can't say they were actually trying to hurt anybody, but the potential was sure there. All over something that drivers had zero control over. I was a rookie then.

I saw a show the other day on these cars. They'll range from $7000 to $25000.

Personally, I'm hoping they catch on and sell in great numbers so I can start putting my foot back in the Powerstroke.
...And all you need for emergencies is a can of white beans in the glovebox.

If you run out of air you can eat those, stick the airline up your butt and voila...fart your way back to the house.

Don't misunderstand me, I AM profitable, but I do think shippers could stand a reminder of their need for trucks, (just look at all the no idle, no restrooms at shippers etc.), and the politician as well, that have allowed our country to get into oil dependence. That's all I'm saying.

I will exercise my right, given the chance, just like I do when I vote to remove lousy leaders.

Everybody seems to want what comes in the truck, but not the truck, nor the driver. If the freight stopped, that would change.
