Default Printers in trucks

Question for those who have a printer in the truck......does the cold weather screw them up in any way? Say the truck sits for a few days....can I just leave the printer in the truck?

I have had no problem with mine, ran it all last winter. Then again, I print my logs when I park and by the time I need to use the printer again it is after a day's drive so the cab has warmed back up and the ink would be thawed.

I agree also. By the time I use mine it's all nice and warm anyways. I never tried it 2 seconds after getting in the truck when it's 0 degrees inside!

Reminder also, if you are using the computerized Drivers Daily Log, you MUST print your logs daily and have 7 days of PRINTED logs for DOT to inspect. There has been some confusion on this as some drivers swear that all DOT has to do is look at the screen of your laptop. Make sure you print the logs daily!!!

You have an engine block heater. Could a printer heater be on the way?
