Some older guys blame the younger guys for the industries problems. Meanwhile, they refuse to educate them about working cheap, running illegal etc..

Allan, there are some who don't take time to help the new people starting out. On the other hand, some younger people already know all the answers, so they don't need any help. :roll: When I started, we didn't have truck driving schools. We learned on the job and through the assistance of older drivers. Frankly, I think this was a much better way to learn. Unfortunately, teaching new people how to drive a truck has become big business. The government pays these carriers and schools millions of dollars to teach people how to drive a truck. Insurance companies pretty much mandate that inexperienced drivers go through a school or training program before they will cover them to drive a truck. Experience is not as well received or respected in this country as in some other cultures. I think it would be better to have an apprenticeship program for new drivers. They could start by driving a straight truck and then move up to combination trucks. A new driver would basically need to earn his way into driving an 18 wheeler.

Okay, so everyone is okay with the suit? and I am the only one typing with my eyes closed from under the desk? okay, whatever. Anyway, I have a question. Were your eyes originally blue or did the growing suit attach to your brain and turn them blue? I am just asking. Because I use to have a friend who got bit by a spider once, then wore a suit not unlike yours, but it was red. Then one day it turned black and he went nuts and beat a bunch of people up. I just don't want that to happen to you GMAN! just lookin out for you!

I appreciate your concern, worldisnotenough. The suit turned them blue. When I take it off my eyes change color.

One of the great things about G-Man is that he does not take himself so seriously that he comes across as arrogant! He can give good information and have fun doing it! Pretty fair and balanced attitude if you ask me! He makes this forum much more informative and fun to be on. It makes people who like to throw insults along side a blessing much more tolerable!
