Not all states recognize that 400 lb. exemption...if you plan on loading that heavy you might want to make sure you know which states are on board.
i am paying maint. miles. but my account is still low being i am new to truck. i went into the minus side but i am now out of the red again. i don't turn in every trip right away, tho. when i go home for a break i am told to save a trip to cover my time off. kinda makes sense in a way. otherwise i send in trip pac whenever i finish the load. i am gonna run this just like my old remodeling business, but i now have a cpa keeping my books for taxes and such. i have had several businesses before and i hope i have learned from them what works and where i need pro help. i know enuf to sub out part of my business because there are parts of all businesses that require special skills i do not have. other day i sent myself a bill to myself for emergency road service, i broke a fan belt alongside the road. i had belt and so i charged my business the current rate for a belt change alongside the road. $450.00 i got a reciept from my other business. this is 1 example of where i have to save $$$
