    That would depend on what you are hauling, and what type of truck you have.

    I've seen owner operators driving straight trucks for Panther II. I dont know what they haul, nor do I know what they pay.

    Fed Ex has a straight truck division. I think, they are on the Ground side.

    You might be able to do pretty good on delivering in town, if you can get contracted to someone.

    Tri-State Expediting is in Toledo, I believe. They have straight and 18 wheelers. They mostly seem to run the Midwest and Canada. Landstar has a straight truck expediter division. I think it is Gemini. Check some of the trucking magazines you find in most truck stops. There is also a expediter website, but I don't know the web address. You can also check the company listings on this forum.
