this is the one we have in our volvo http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?actio...5DB&lpage=none
it was the only one we could find that would fit (width inside the cabinet) thy have taller one's but we like this one. we've had it in three trucks now over two years and it has always worked. you will need a 1500w inverter also.

I have a sixty nine dollar Haier refrigerator from Walmart, plugged into my $149 2000 watt Harbor Freight inverter. Runs it just fine, along with my microwave, vacuum cleaner, TV, laptop power supply, etc. etc...

It's a cheap way to go. My first frige croaked after 9 months of jouncing around in the truck; Haier replaced it for $14 under warranty and this one is going on 9 months and working well.

I am gonna upgrade to their next taller model as soon as I can find one. Saw it at Walmart, too, but didn't buy it at the time....

Where did you put your fridge? Did you take out the passenger seat and put a side by side in?

Steev-O: I wanted to take out the passenger seat and put in a chest freezer with a built-in beer keg, but my dog objected.

Thus, the little Haier just sits behind my driver's seat in the little nook between the bunk and the front of the sleeper... the microwave sits on top of it. My inverter is mounted under my bunk and the cord from the fridge reaches right over to the inverter. It works damn slick and doesn't cost $600 like the "truck fridge" models. I guess the Haier is about two feet cube in size... :?
