    Do LTL companies offer o/op oppurtunites ? Is such work sufficiently remunerative ?

    Yep. Fedex freight and I think Dominion have a flate rate per mile for hub to hub runs.

    I did LTL for a while.

    It can be good, better fuel mileage, consistent home time/pay.

    where can I find info on fedex freight O/O I am leased to fedex ground but I think freight is all company drivers.

    Fedex Freight is all Company drivers, Fedex freight national used to be Watkins Motor Lines and they have O/O's

    How do you get better mileage pulling a set? My understanding is that a set of doubles is inferior to a 53' Van form a rolling resistance & drag perspective.

    I don't know, why you are calling it LTL?
    They work for LTL company, but actually doing TL job, so is the pay!
