I use Microsoft Streets and Maps. Then I can drag and drop a different route if need be and it calculates the miles.

One thing I use is Mapquest. The miles are usually pretty accurate and it is FREE!!!!

I use Internet Truckstops Fueldesk Plus, PC Miles, ProMiles, and Microsoft Street & Trips. I try to get the zip codes from shipper to consignee so the miles can be calculated more accurately.

Do you mean Delorme? I didn't realize MS is that cheap. The Delorme runs $70-80. I've been using it for 3 or 4 years and it's closer than any other program I've seen. Personally, I wouldn't switch...of course you need to know how to use it.

i`ll use mapquest for a quote (since the shipper can look up the route and see the quoted miles) but I rarely use it for directions, alot of the routes they give ya are longer then they need be.
