Do you lease to a carrier or run your own authority? What type of trailer do you pull?

if you have a dry box i find that when going up there u can almost always find a load going to idaho. But then you get back in the same boat.

Even reefer freight is miserable up there right now. Cherries weren't even worth the hassle :?

I don't know who has it. I could have gotten out of here by now I am just not willing to lower my standards that far. The bills are pd. I can wait them out for a little while. The last time I was out here I managed to get a decent payn ld just a couple of hrs after mt ...not the case this time.

yeah im learning to do that now... i use to run and be paid by the mile up until about 2 months ago, now i find my own loads and its hard not to take a cheap load just to keep going because ive been paid by the mile for so long. Just hang in there!

I'm curious how long will you sit there waiting for a better paying load that may NEVER come? How long have you been sitting so far? Instead of taking a load to get out and to a better place you've lost money that you will NEVER recover.

I'm on a different page and just don't understand the logic. You could have bit the bullet for one day to a better place and would have been making money.

I agree with Steve you should have been gone after 1 day. I know a guy sat in Florida for 8 days trying to find that right load. He has dry van and was hoping to find melons or potatoes out. It did not happen.
May God bless all in their ventures......Been gone while but now I'm back. Going to keep on trucking even though the freight is sucking.

If the loads were going to abetter area and at least pd. for the fuel ...Yeah I see your point but the lds are going to areas where I am gonna sit or haul cheap freight again....Not worth it.

I know there is a seed place in tangent, OR(i think thats the place) they pay very well 1.45-1.55 but thats good for that area, i know they ship ALL the time
