I would count on about $150-165/week. It would probably be cheaper to rent by the month than week. Some companies charge a flat rate plus a mileage charge. I checked with a local company who leases equipment a few years ago and if memory serves they charge $120/week plus $0.12/mile. I believe it was all inclusive of tires and maintenance. If you damage a tire due to negligence you could be held responsible for it's replacement. Some of the trailer dealers will rent trailers. The company where I purchased my step deck rents them. I don't recall how much they charge. I am sure it is based upon the length of the rental and age of the equipment.

it seems on truckpaper you can get a nice flatbed for about $15,000, seems to be the better option then renting, thats if youre gonna use it for a while

A guy I met out of Houston back in April has a 2007 Fontaine Elite flatbed, and his monthly payment on it is $589 a month. I think he said he financed it through Paccar..that is whom his truck is financed with.
