Thread: Here we go again.. Truckless once more :)

Default Here we go again.. Truckless once more :)

    I sold my truck!

    8)

Sold it to the first guy who came to look at it (just did our paperwork today) for my asking price, and could have sold it at least twice since then, actually I'm working on a deal with a guy in Hawaii to build another like mine (except as a full set) so maybe I got a new "hobby/business" a brewing.

This is the ad that got my buyer: http://sacramento.craigslist.org/bfs/357259481.html

My friends said I was nuts (asking price), I told them just give me one guy with money and I'll sell it to him - and thats what happened. Only had it listed a matter of days.

I didn't get rich trucking but I didn't lose my ass, so I'm happy. I'll be back when I'm ready to run F/T again (dont want an employee, eats up most my $$) and will go again with a MUCH cheaper truck that is paid for. The 2nd I took out on my home to do this last year will be paid off and I can sleep a little better at night.

    sitting on my butt, lol.

Along with spending time with my baby, and maybe flipping trucks since I seem to be having good luck at it, we will see how this Hawaii deal works out - if its a go thats about 10k a truck for me just for putting the thing together for the guy. 8)

Congrats, Floored. Good to hear that you have still come out on top.

So, Floored, are you going to drive in Hawaii?
    :P

Yes Steve, flipping trucks. Kinda like flipping burgers, but different. :P

Yeah man this guy says I should come out to Hawaii witha truck, I guess they are making $115 a hr as a transfer and working year round. Apparently some guys in the states are shipping the trucks there and leasing them to companies who need trucks. Crazyness.

Just got off the phone with the guy, still working on getting him a transfer, my buddy is selling his Pete and it fits what he needs to a T, so maybe I can make a few $$$ on this :crosses fingers:

Watch for my new reality tv show soon "Flip That Truck" lol

flipping trucks is easy if you can fix em yourself.

step 1. buy brand new truck with damage but clean title for 25% original price

    step 2. repair truck

step 3. sell truck for 60% of original value.

step 4 is optional, for me its drop the twins off at grandma and grandpa`s and dump 10 grand in vegas on 2/5 no limit
