Default What paperwork does DOT want when they pull you in?

Its been a while since I was pulled in at the coop. When it happened before, I was with Stevens, and they had a folder with certain documents in it. DOT looked through it, smiled and sent me on my way.
I don't remember what those documents were. Can anyone tell me what you keep in your folder to show DOT?

I have my MC#,DOT#,2290,and insurance in place. Next I go to get my base plates (looks like a trip to Tally), then join a drug testing thing,OOIDA is filing my BOC3, and there must be a few things I'm forgetting,...this was way too easy
Then go to pick up my trailer,....when I find a good one.

I keep a doutang (sp?) in the glove boxes. I'm probably forgetting some stuff but:

    CVOR certificate
    US authority cert (MC#)
    USDOT cert
    truck ownership/title
    cab card
    truck safety cert
    emissions cert
    NY HUT permit
    IFTA permit

The trailers have the the saftety cert, registration/title and original ins cert.

The Duotang has clear plastic sleeves in it and The docs are in the sleeves.

The standard docs they want to see are insurance, registration, IFTA, and SSRS (though you won't have that anymore). Sometimes they'll be more thorough and want to see some of the things Rank mentioned.
