If you can get to Maryland, alot of the interstates are closed in PA right now,I am sitting in the middle of I-80 waiting for penndot to attempt to clear the road, they say it could be Friday afternoon before it is open.

I am in the middle of a 11+ mile backup on westbound I-80 east of I-81
I guess I got out just in time!!!

We got our tractor off this morning. We are over at the TA in Baltimore waiting on permits....our load was called in a legal BUT turned out it is permit load for overweight. What ever we are picking up weighs 50,000lbs so the rate is going to change too. I will post when I know what it is.

The load is going to Detroit. Then we will bounce 35 miles and pick up another load back to Baltimore.

Hey, if it was Case Grande, it would only pay $1/mile.

Well we went and picked up our load yesterday. We had to get permits because we are grossed at 85,000lbs. This truck thing we picked up weighs like 50,000 lbs.

We survived our night in Baltimore and were on the road this morning. We could not run any turnpikes so we went 83 up to 81 and out 322 up to 80. We are camped out in Youngstown tonight. It is snowing AGAIN!! I will be glad when Spring gets here!!

The truck is doing fine. She is getting about 5mpg with her heavy load. Thatis about what we expected. The mileage may increase now since we are out of the mountians.

The rate was REALLY good for 600 miles. We are getting 1474.00 to the truck. Not bad!! You have to remember we were Arrow lease drivers two weeks ago So to us we are not doing bad at all.

Hopefully the snow will stop sometime and we wont get stuck getting out of the Petro in the morning....

I will write more later....it is time for bed.

Cost to haul the load paid by shipper = $3000

Amount to driver paid to haul load = $ "to the truck"

Left over $ = broker's fees (if applicable), shipper's profit, etc.
