Default Question for GMAN

GMAN...I've been reading your postings for quite a while, and have come to respect your opinion. I"am due for a DOT psychical and a little concerned about my blood pressure. I remember you mentioning something about an herbal remedy, and wonder if you could tell me again what it is. thanks.

I'm not the GMAN, but I too was worried about my blood pressure. It is always best to see a doctor. Having said that, there are several ways to lower your blood pressure. The three most significant ways are to exercise, loose weight and reduce your salt/sodium intake. You can do a search on the internet for blood pressure, high blood pressure or hypertension. There is one site I found where you can plug in various varibles such as your current weight what your current blood pressure is and if you lost say 20 lbs. or stopped smoking or started exercising and it will give the expected results. Other remedies are to eat garlic and fish oils, meditation and other relaxation exercises. I'm sure others will come along to add to this. A doctor can give you medication to reduce your blood pressure.

I think the remedy that GMAN has recommended is called Hawthorne Berry.

Red Clay Rambler is correct. It is called Hawthorn Berry Extract. You can find it at most health food or vitamin stores. I know Vitamin World has it, if you have one near you. GNC also probably carries it, as well. You can take one pill once or twice per day. I have spoken to several people who have lowered their blood pressure within a week or two by only using Hawthorn Berry. Garlic and onion is also supposed to help keep blood pressure under control. It sure beats taking blood pressure medication and doesn't have the side effects. It is also much less expensive.

Man, that makes me hungry to think about it, RostyC. It is best to use raw onions and garlic. I love them regardless.
