Default Lost puppy at Flying J truck stop Ft. Pierce Florida

Drivers my son lost my puppy while laying over at the Flying J Truck Stop in Ft Pierce Florida about a month and half ago.

I know this is a one in a million chance but I have to do everything I can to find her. I still can't get over losing her.

Berta looks like a small black lab is probably about 25-35 lbs now and has a curly black coat. She also has a black spot on her tongue. She slipped her collar while the son was walking her in the Flying J lot lot so she didn't have a collar on .

Betra means the world to me, if anyone knows anything about her I would appreciate hearing from you. Thank you Tackit.

EDITED: This is August 11,2007... I don't want to make anyone mad so I won't bump this thread anain.

But just to let eveyone know I still do and always will check this thread four times a day for any infornation about my pup. thanks drivers

Thank you street_95. It hurts and worries me not knowing how she is. This is the first time I ever lost something so near and dear to me, it's a terrible hurt for sure. Thanks again tackit.

 Sorry to hear about your loss. My dog, Maggie, had intestinal problems when she was a puppy and lost weight down to 25 pounds (she's a golden retriever). We thought we were gonna lose her and I cried and stayed up with her many nights. That was seven years ago. But after two surgeries the vet brought her back and she's plopped up on my bed as I write this snoozing away. I'll pray that you and your dog are reunited.

Midnight Flyer I'm very happy your Maggie got better, people that don't have pets I don't imagine can understand the bonding that takes place between an owner and his pet, they truly do become a member of the family. I thank you for your prayers, I pray for my puppy Bertas return at least three times a day. I hope I get her back, what a great Blessing it would be. Thanks again Midnight Flyer, Tackit

He wouldn't even talk to me about it, I had to get all the info from his room mate, makes me sick. hes just dirty and no good. tackit

As a dog lover, loosing a dog and not knowing what ever happened to it would drive me insane.

I hope the best for you my friend. And may you find your lost dog.

Garmann thank you for carring too. I helped deliver that puppy, she was my favorite of the litter, so lovable and so smart, always wanting to be held and petted. If I have a favor left with God I hope to cash it in on getting her back. I just can't get over her, I see her beautiful face all the time. Thanks Tackit

I take my Siberian Husky with me on the road Tackit. I'd be devastated if anything happened to her. I'm not down in that neck of the woods but I'll keep a prayer for you that things work out well. Keep us abreast of how it's going please. Take care. Drive safe everyone.

mapleleaf_1 that is really nice of you and the other drivers as well for offering your support. I can certainly understand your feelings about your dog.

tfmotors & GTR Silver I have two other dogs, I live out in the country. Out here we need our dogs for safety and for companionship. Had a double murder down the highway from us about four years ago, transient scum broke in the peoples home and killed two and put one in the hospital. Here with my dogs it would have been the other way around. Many thanks to all you drivers for taking time to respond to my thread. Tackit
